When will our leaders learn?
The powerful minorities are who we need to worry about.
ISIS, Al Queda, Hamas... These are all organizations who support an Islamic radicalization. An Islamic caliphate. That's not my opinion. It's their core belief and they are not shy about it. They don't support any nationalities since they believe nation states are Western creations. We must fight them with everything we've got.
This isn't an indictment against all Moslems. It's a realizations that radicals have caused the most destruction in the world over the past century.
The majorities, especially in non-democratic societies, were, and are, irrelevant.
The Nazis were a minority when they came to power. So were the Russian leaders under Stalin. So were the Chinese, Japanese before and during WWII... all with devastating results.
There are currently over 1.2 billion Muslims in the world with estimates of between 15-25% being radicals according to a Pew research poll taken in 2010 (see link below). That translates into 180,000,000 to 300,000,000 people dedicated to our destruction. One hundred and eighty million to three hundred million who say suicide bombings can often or sometimes be justified or had a positive opinion of Osama bid Laden (as of 2010)!!
Again, this is NOT an indictment against all Moslems. It's not a call for any kind of collective punishment and this has nothing to do with race. If 15%-25% are radicals that leaves 75%-85% who are not. But we shouldn't care about the irrelevant majority. It's the fanatical minority that we need to focus on.
ISIS, Al Queda, Hamas. These organizations are all one and the same. They need to be confronted head on and destroyed.
