Robin Williams

"But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
Robin Williams gave us poetry, beauty, romance, love and of course laughter.
The powerful play indeed goes on. It's just a lot less poetic, beautiful, romantic and funny now.
I loved Mork, Popeye (yes I saw it!), Garp, Cronaeur, Keating, Patch, Pan, Genie, Doubtfire, Sean....
What will your verse be?

It's sad how HuffPo is willing to act like such a Democrat and eat one of their own.

It's sad how HP is willing to act like such a Democrat and eat one of their own.
Hillary would be an excellent president. She is brilliant. She's experienced. She's informed. She's electable. She would be the first female president in history (if you care about that kind of thing).
Is HP simply a shill for Obama or is it a blog for everyone; Democrats, Independents AND even like minded Republicans? I find it appalling how HP has covered Hillary Clinton since the primaries, all the way to today.
The fact that she's identifying with Israel, our best ally in the region and against Hamas, a terrorist organization, is something Hillary should be praised and commended for not derided.
Hamas is an organization that does not support Palestinian statehood (statehood is a Western concept - they want an Islamic caliphate), women's rights (they stone women for adultery, punish the woman in rape cases - talk about suffrage!), gay rights (they are killed as an abomination). Hamas, like ISIS, like Qaeda, like the Taliban, is an organization that is against EVERYTHING Huffington Post and liberals profess to stand for.
Hillary, before Bill became president, was once a top 100 lawyer in the country. If she's now being called "Israel's new lawyer", I for one feel confident that Israel will be well represented.
Only a self hating liberal or a hopelessly uninformed one would criticize Hillary for supporting Israel against Hamas.

When Will Our Leaders Learn?

When will our leaders learn?
The powerful minorities are who we need to worry about.
ISIS, Al Queda, Hamas... These are all organizations who support an Islamic radicalization. An Islamic caliphate. That's not my opinion. It's their core belief and they are not shy about it. They don't support any nationalities since they believe nation states are Western creations. We must fight them with everything we've got.
This isn't an indictment against all Moslems. It's a realizations that radicals have caused the most destruction in the world over the past century.
The majorities, especially in non-democratic societies, were, and are, irrelevant.
The Nazis were a minority when they came to power. So were the Russian leaders under Stalin. So were the Chinese, Japanese before and during WWII... all with devastating results.
There are currently over 1.2 billion Muslims in the world with estimates of between 15-25% being radicals according to a Pew research poll taken in 2010 (see link below). That translates into 180,000,000 to 300,000,000 people dedicated to our destruction. One hundred and eighty million to three hundred million who say suicide bombings can often or sometimes be justified or had a positive opinion of Osama bid Laden (as of 2010)!!
Again, this is NOT an indictment against all Moslems. It's not a call for any kind of collective punishment and this has nothing to do with race. If 15%-25% are radicals that leaves 75%-85% who are not. But we shouldn't care about the irrelevant majority. It's the fanatical minority that we need to focus on.
ISIS, Al Queda, Hamas. These organizations are all one and the same. They need to be confronted head on and destroyed.

Liberals: WAKE UP!!

My fellow liberals: WAKE UP!!
Hamas makes the Westboro Baptist Church look like hippies.
Hamas makes Putin look like John Conyers.
Hamas makes the Ku Klux Klan look like they're part of a minyan (ask your Jewish friends).
Hamas makes Rush Limbaugh look like Hugh Hefner.
Basically they are the epitome of everything liberals profess to be against.
They are anti-freedom of religion, anti-gay, anti-women, anti-American and anti-Western.

They have turned our love of life into their manipulation.
Wake up. They are evil, personified.

Difference between Israel and Hamas:

Difference between Israel and Hamas:
Israel:
"We don't know yet the motives or the identities of the perpetrators, but we will. We will bring to justice the criminals responsible for this despicable crime, whoever they may be," [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu said Thursday. "Murder, riots, incitement, vigilantism - they have no place in our democracy."
Hamas:
[Hamas leader] Meshaal praised the kidnappings [of the three Israeli boys]: “Blessed be the hands that captured them. This is a Palestinian duty, the responsibility of the Palestinian people. "
They are not like us.
They do not think like us.
They do not have the same moral compass as us.
To say that is simply recognizing the reality.
Denying that is wishful thinking.
