I'm sorry but the Gaza invasion was VERY long overdue. The citizens of Sderot had been subjected to rocket attacks for....not days....not weeks or months but YEARS! Would you be OK with the US government sitting back for years as US citizens took hit after hit with civilians getting killed? Israel unilaterally pulled out of Gaza and Hamas decided to use that territory as a base for their killing machine. They could have taken a different route and decided to build a country. It was their choice. Israel had already proven that it had NO interest in Gaza. Why don't you ask how come the other Arab counties wouldn't help the Palestinians get their country off the ground! They simply USE the Palestinians to take away any focus on their own corrupt oligarchs, monarchs, dictators....
The Gaza operation was, sadly, justified.
